Maybe not many people know that in Madura Island is divided into four different languages madurese and this can be seen from each district between Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan and Sumenep. Where there are terms in the island of Madura, the more towards the east then the language used increasingly fine level. In this case the City Sumenep who are in a position most easterly city in Madura Island likened to a level languages such as Java city of Solo.
I who was born in Surabaya, but many spent my childhood on the island of Madura, especially in this Sumenep. More details on the other side of the island from east end Sumenep (Kalianget District) is located in District Talango Poteran Island. Ten years of my childhood there, exactly when undergoing Basic education (primary school) and secondary (junior high), after completing kindergarten in the city of Palembang two years. Childhood that makes me able to use language Sumenep Madura but now many have forgotten (hehehe.. Because it was rarely there now).
Back to discussion Sumenep region that is located in the most eastern island of Madura, and if traveled from Surabaya city approximately 199 KM or 5-6 hour bus ride. In this district there are some 126 islands are inhabited yet. Years have a name but for Puteran Island is already a single district even though only 3 KM width and length of 18 KM with nine villages therein. That's why is called Poteran Island, because it is surrounded (poteran = round), the sea all the village areas. Really fun remembering the past there, because there was lots of coral reef shore Waru, naturally beautiful Padike Beach Goa, Hedgehogs challenging and Asta Yusuf Habib who always visited the archipelago and the Pilgrim State. I've often thought of before, whether the island remains as before Poteran? I could not tell it all now.
In addition Poteran Island, actually there are many attractions in Sumenep very interesting but less terekpos potential exit. We have welcomed the Indonesian Independence and bull racing carnival in the strait Poteran Paddle Boat. There are mosques and the Palace of Sumenep the artistic and management, not to mention the beach is always crowded when the feast of diamonds and unique Salopeng Panorama Beach who have some background Lumbang Pines Forest Prawn (Shrimp Pines are usually found only in China) that makes people always travel back like a cool place. n the day
